1. BABY COT/CRIB
A baby cot can be placed in the room for guest who has a baby or infant. The baby cot can be provided free of charge.
2. LAUNDRY SERVICE
Laundry Service is available for guests if they would like to wash their clothes, all you need to do is fill in the Laundry Service Form indicating the type and number of items. Clothes are returned within 24 hrs and there is an extra charge for this service.
3. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TRANSFERS
Forest Lodge can arrange transfer for guests upon arrival provided that the guests request for this service beforehand. We can also arrange transfer from the guest house to the airport or the ferry terminal for those travelling to Praslin or La Digue Island. The transfer is an extra charge.
4. RESTAURANT AND BAR
Each of our studio has a kichenette and guests can prepare their own meals and serve themselves on their balcony. Guests can dine at our sister restaurant; Casadani Restaurant, which offers a buffet dinner. Forest Lodge provides free transfer for guests who do not have a car from or to the Guest House.
5. MOBILE PHONE RECEPTION
Forest Lodge has good mobile phone reception. Guest can use their mobile phones to make local calls (if they have a local SIM card) or international calls.
6. HIGH SPEED INTERNET AND WI-FI
Forest Lodge upgraded its wi-fi system in July 2016 and now have a free high speed internet service. The system also allows guests to make free local calls using the house telephone.
7. SHUTTLE SERVICE
Forest Lodge provides a shuttle service for guests who would like to dine out around the area. This shuttle service is payable.
8. VEHICLE/CAR RENTAL
Forest Lodge works closely with two rental companies and can facilitate the rental of vehicle for its guests.
9. CAR PARKING
Forest Lodge provides free car parking for guests who are using a hired vehicle.
10. BBQ FACILITIES FOR GUESTS
BBQ Facilities are available for guests who would like to use this facility during the day or the evening. There is a beautiful setting in the garden where guests can sit and chill-out with a nice cold drink. In case of rainy weather there is a BBQ kiosk which guests can use free of charge.
11. SMOKING ROOMS/FLOOR
Forest Lodge is equipped with smoke detectors in all the rooms. Guest is allowed to smoke only on the balcony or in the garden.
12. GAME FISHING
Forest Lodge works closely with Ocean Girl Charter for game fishing and day excursion to the North-West part of the island.
13. DAY TRIP TO PRASLIN AND LA DIGUE
Forest Lodge can help guests who wish to visit other islands make their reservation for their trips. For guests who will be staying on Praslin or La Digue Island after or before their stay at Forest Lodge you can book your ticket for the Cat Cocos ferry here.
14. DAY TOUR OF MAHE
Forest Lodge can also organise day tour service for its guests and this service is chargeable.
